Please be advised that due to the excessive flooding that is currently taking place in Nova Scotia, there is a list of areas that are most effected.
- Dartmouth Terminal update – Continued delays in these areas due to main and secondary road closures: West & East Hants, Halifax Regional Municipality, Prospect Road/Bay Road, St Margaret’s Bay , Bedford, and Sackville
- Truro Terminal update – Accessibility has been restored however we are still experiencing delays due to road closures in the surrounding area
- Yarmouth Terminal update – Accessibility has been restored however delayed service was incurred Friday evening through to Sunday
- Bridgewater Terminal update – Accessibility has been restored however delayed service was incurred Friday evening through to Sunday
- Kentville Terminal update – Accessibility has been restored however delayed service was incurred Friday evening through to Sunday
Linehaul and Rail delays in Nova Scotia:
Delays are also expected with our Linehaul Division, access to the 101 and 103 highway is now obtainable but traffic is extremely slow moving.
Delays are also expected with our Rail Division between Moncton and Halifax. CN Rail have closed multiple sections of its main line, that includes the washed-out section near Millbrook, which is about 90km north of the city. Crews are currently inspecting the track in the area and making repairs to ensure the safe movement of passenger and freight traffic. Some repairs will be delayed until weather and water events subside per a CN Rail statement issued on Sunday.
